Yep, today is Josie's birthday! She was born 2 years ago, on Mother's Day. Courtney made her a little toy yesterday. It didn't start out as a cat toy... she just wanted "make a craft", so in digging through our supplies, she found some yarn and decided she wanted to make a braid out of it. She patiently held the end while I did the braiding. Here's our braid.... er... 'her' braid!
It turned out to be a pretty good cat toy, although Josie didn't expend any more energy than she had to in going after it. ;)
It also turned out to be a whip when Courtney was riding horseback on Grandpa's back later. I don't think it made the "horse" go any faster, though. In fact, I don't think he felt it. But Courtney sure had fun, and there were abundant giggles when her horse walked straight into walls when she failed to turn him! Sorry, no video.
